Great cruise! We had a very special family time. We took our adult kids and spouses. Everyone had a wonderful time. The Solstice captain was so funny.

Embarkation

Getting on the ship was good. The only problem was the wait time for the bus from the airport to the ship. Took way too long and we barely made it in time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All went well. The main dining was great for us all to be together but did take a long time however. We went to two specialty restaurants. They were a nice change and more intimate. Silk Harvest, the French restaurant had spectacular service and the chef was a huge part of the experience.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center and spa were a huge part of our experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The best show was the two ladies playing acoustic cello and violin! Fantastic.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward, Wilson, was perfect, friendly, and helpful. Our assistant waiter, Frederic was so sweet our head waiter was efficient but lacked friendliness.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well maintained. No problems.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our room. Just the right size and we loved our balcony. All six balconies were opened up for the whole family to watch the fijord experience.

Ship tip

I recommend going the night before so you can get to the ship earlier and not wait for the bus! The limes were too long.

We took the excursion after the cruise very expensive and too shirt. Needs to have enough time for lunch.

Great boat ride and nature hike. Well organized and fun day. We got away from touristy areas.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
It was Tracey Arm and fijords. Absolutely the highlight of our trip! We all sat on the balcony watching the icebergs go by; the fijords were beautiful; the calving if the glacier amazing. The narration by Bret Nixon was special

Oh my! We did a canoe trip to Mendenhall glacier. It was a 2 1/2 mile trek paddling but we got really close to the glacier. Our guide, David, led us right under the waterfall! Soooo fun! Thank

We did the float trip to the Eagle Preserve. The first part was fun but got pretty bored. Not much to see.

Victoria, British Columbia

We did the zodiac whale watch. We saw one humpback whale but no orcas. Believe me, the zodiac boat is not good for the back. It was a thrill but the rough seas made for pounding on the back.

Disembarkation

Loved the port valet service the ship offered! Helped so much!
