Quick and efficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Two beverage packages. It cost an additional $84 to upgrade to the better one. The cheaper one only paid $9 toward at $15 drink! Could not eat in "open dining" restaurant because we had an assigned seating. We were turned away. We had to eat in the same dining room every day unless we wanted to eat at the open buffet.

Passport Bar

4 out of 5

We used this bar the most. It was smaller but well staffed. However if you wanted a frozen drink they had to go to another bar to make it. Took a long time. Next time I will just go to another bar. No, wait, there won't be a next time. I will never book with Celebrity again.

Grand Epernay Restaurant

4 out of 5

Evan, Jay and Elizabeth were spectacular. We loved them. However, the choice of menu items were not what I would have ordered at a restaurant. Every night I had to ask "what is it".

Oceanview Cafe and Bar

3 out of 5

It was NOT open 24/7. Maybe the pizza bar and only if you wanted dried out pizza. Meatballs were not at the pasta station, they were in another sections, say what?

Champagne Bar

4 out of 5

The bar was iced which was really cool. VERY busy so the service was not as good.

Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

4 out of 5

Very busy but the service was good.

Onboard Activities

A few you had to pay extra for. What? Pay for stuff that should be free? The free shows were awful. Daily activities were trivia and bingo. We made paper flowers?! One piano player on the main deck and one mediocre singer. I can play bingo at the senior center for free and not have to pay $2000 for a cruise to play.

Trying to resolve issues with Celebrity is almost impossible. Nobody knows what is going on. Nobody can help you.

Shops on the Boulevard

1 out of 5

If I wanted to buy Michael Kors or Tiffanys I would go to New York City. You could not buy toothpaste or sunscreen. I had to go to the liquor shop to ask for batteries. They had one shelf of snacks.

Guest Relations And Excursions

1 out of 5

I would give zero stars if I could. Misinformation and we were told, "I'm sorry you didn't know the correct questions to ask."

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Two shows and four magician shows!? What? The show on the final night was terrible. The dancers were out of step and the singer sounded like he couldn't hit his high notes.

Grand Foyer

4 out of 5

Pretty. I liked that it was from deck 3 to deck 14 with glass elevators. However, this was one of only two elevator banks and it was extremely busy with long waits for an elevator. All other ships I have cruised on had at least 3 elevator banks. One of these was at the front of the ship so the main usage was the main elevators.

Celebrity Theater

Venue was okay but the shows were awful.

Service and Staff

I LOVED Evan and Jay in the dining room They were spectacular and our cabin steward was awesome. However, the guest relations desk LIED to us and said luggage valet was transporting our luggage to the airport. Our luggage was left at the pier and the cost to ship it to us is $258. They said two suitcases were 98 pounds. Mine was 33 because I carry a travel scale. WE STILL DO NOT HAVE OUR LUGGAGE.

Ship Quality

I did not like the layout of the ship. Only two elevator banks, long lines to get on the elevator. However the ship was beautiful in the open areas, cabins like any other ship. Bathrooms were beautiful, rolled linen hand towels and beautiful glass sinks. Spotless, the ship was extremely clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

SPOTLESS. Loved our cabin steward. We had a restricted view. Balcony was small. Only two outlets which were by the makeup mirror. My companion has a CPAP machine so she had to have an extension cord which is a tripping hazzard strung across the cabin floor. I had one plug to charge my phone, she had one for the extension cord. We could not charge our camera and she could not charge her phone.

The cruise pier 91 was difficult for our taxi drive to maneuver. The place for drop off was not clear and he had to drop us in an area where we had to drag our luggage to find the drop off spot. It was not clearly marked.

Beautiful. Loved every minute and would do it again. We took a trolly tour and the driver stopped along the ocean and we saw whales. She stopped along the road so we could take pictures of the totem poles and showed us bald eagles nesting.

Got off the ship and had to wind through the poles and roped off area to wait for the bus. My friend knocked over a pole which came down in front of her and she tripped over it. She scraped her elbow, bruised her knee and pulled a muscle in her side. She is now under doctor care and the ship doctor was $200 upfront just to fill out paperwork. She was told once you step off the ship you are no longer our responsibility. We were about 50 feet off the gangway.

Awesome! We took the White Pass train excursion and it was fabulous. The weather was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. I tell everyone they need to do this.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

What beautiful views! You definitely need a balcony. There is land on both sides of the ship so there is always something to see. We had a passage blocked with floating ice chunks and had to turn around and go another way because the fjord was blocked with so much ice . It was so pretty.

We took the OCanada excursion and loved every minute of it.

Disembarkation

Our luggage was left at the pier because guest relations on board did not tell us the luggage valet $30 was just to take out luggage to the pier and not transported to the airport like we were told. A week later and we still do not know where our luggage is but we were told it would cost $258 to FedEx it to us. So we paid with a credit card. WHERE IS OUR LUGGAGE?
