Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All main restaurants and buffet were very good. The staff friendly and helpful. The food varied and tasty.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The mail pool was the best we have seen at sea. The indoor pool was good but not as good as the thalassotherapy pool on Celebrity Millennium.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw 2 shows and the best was the singer Ashleigh Amber.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was always smiling and did a great job with our room. In fact all the staff were always friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and maintained as you would expect with a newer ship. The layout was a bit different to other ships we have been on. We did take longer than usual to get used to it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
For an inside cabin we were very happy with it. Well designed with enough space for us.

Ship tip

Try and get a deal that includes WiFi because paying on the ship is very expensive. Most people cannot do without it nowadays. We did find the WiFi very patchy.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy Did not visit port

We went straight from the airport to the ship.

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
We did a tour along the Amalfi Coast and then to Pompeii. There is. A lot of litter in the city we noticed as we drove through.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands Did not visit port

We stayed on board having spent. A couple of weeks here. A few years ago

Barcelona, Spain

4 out of 5
A lovely city especially the main market and the Gaudi buildings. One tip if visiting the Sagrada Família is to buy “Beat the line” tickets before you go. The queues can be very long. But. stunning building both inside and out.

Monte Carlo, Monaco

5 out of 5
Lovely port and we did our own thing using the local buses which are easy to use.

Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy Did not visit port

The reason for this cruise was because I have always wanted to visit Portofino. This port is the gateway to it. It was the only place we got not stay at anchor and use the tenders because the seas was too rough. We just sailed to the final port,

La Spezia, Italy

5 out of 5
A generic port that we only saw going to and from the railway station. We took ourselves to visit the Cinque Terre towns by train. Very easy to do and well worth it. They all have their own charm and beauty.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick and simple.

Traveler Photos

The small harbour at Monaco not Naples but I did not have a choice.
