Review summary

Don't get me wrong, I had an okay time. My first cruise and probably my last with Carnival. Vista is supposed to be this huge amazing ship, but for my family...it was severely lacking. Not enough kid friendly stuff to do. The WaterWorks shut down at 6pm. Extremely crowded. Maybe we were psyched about the main dining room meals, but they were only so, so. It was not bad, but I can cook better at home. The people answering room service calls were not friendly. For my family, flying somewhere, spending some time exploring our destination over a few days...not wham bam thank you ma'am.
