Review summary

We had oil flung on our clothes the night before we we arrived at port in New Orleans. We were playing shuffle board and realized the tall smoke stack was spewing oil all over the deck and on us. Guest services line was once again more than 15 people long and I asked someone in housekeeping if they had any stain-remover and they had nothing to offer.

Slow-masks-didn’t get anyone in our party scanned in. We had to have someone rescan all our passports and it took about 15-20 min. And still our children after doing the muster station-we we’re told our kids were listed on the ship.

Usually late or in an area that was too small. Tried to play bing bag toss but left after 15 min late. Not enough room in the pools and couldn’t use the adult pool because we had children with us.

Room was always neat and had a cute towel on the bed. Very attentive cleaning staff.

They allowed too many on board with marijuana and it smelled in many areas.

the king bed kept drifting apart during the middle of the night which made it tough to sleep.

Ship tip

Pick another cruise line. They don’t prevent the marijuana smoking and it’s awful. Long lines for guest services.

Not very clean-seemed like we were being herded like cattle. A Woman checking our app & passports yelled at me when she became available as if we didn’t move quick enough. The workers were very rude.

Wish we could have played at a beach-we were barricaded in a shopping area and not allowed to Get in the water. And they played ridiculous announcements to wear masks OUTSIDE! why is that necessary? Covid is over-or here forever-either way we can’t wear masks outside.

Disembarkation

Slow and more mask wearing after exiting the boat. Ridiculous. And all the employees with their masks pulled down but doing everything to force others to wear them. Felt like nazi germany. When we leave the port we don’t wear them so why are they requiring them?
