Review summary

I had an overall great time despite some service issues.

Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth and easy. Only thing was our pictures for our sign and sail cards. The First Lady who took our photos was “elderly” and when we got to guest services, we had to take them again because they weren’t done right. We got our luggage before 1:30pm!!!!!!!!!!! Omg, that never happens. We snuck to go see if our room was ready before 1:30pm (around 1:10ish) it was and our luggage was waiting for us.

There was a rumor that our cruise was a “training” cruise. Meaning a lot of newbies learning their new jobs. All in all, service was quite bad. Especially in the dining rooms, slow service and rude waiters. Went to guest services several times, and I hate doing that.

Amazing cabin! Amazing size! But it was FREEZING in there. And you can not control the temp. Only turn the air on or off. Maybe because it was January or maybe because we were in the very front of the ship. I brought a fan that I never used. I had to sleep with extra clothes on.

Try it after it’s goes into dry dock next year.

Early disembarkation was easy and fast. But... there were two guests who had a fist fight. Not sure what happened or why people would be that angry at 7am after a cruise, but that’s what happened. It wasn’t overly violent and it was stopped by crew members. But still, talk about crazy!
