Review summary
This is the 4th cruise we've taken, 3 of which were from Carnival, our first on the Valor. The food is simply amazing, second to none. The crew are all very helpful, informative & happy individuals, they all work very hard to make your vacation an excellent experience. The Southern Caribbean is absolutely stunning, of course we had incredible excursions, some islands were less than what we thought they would be, but others were those that you knew the moment you docked, that you would book a return vacation on. The night shows were o.k., they were entertaining, although I preferred the entertainment on some of our previous Carnival ships, although I would take into account that, that may be our preference & not the lack of good entertainment provided by the Valor. I would highly recommend the Carnival Valor, you will not be disappointed. Loved our vacation.Ship experiences

Loved the Lido deck for breakfasting & lunch, although the omelet & Mongolian wok lines are long they are worth the wait. Look for the burrito spot, it's a gem worth looking for. DO NOT miss the formal dining room, the food is amazing. Lobster, tiger shrimp, prime rib, & more.
