it was ok, but a larger ship might be nicer

Hit up the Havana bar often. Great view on sea days and service is fairly quick. It has two omelet stations typically found in the Lido Marketplace and turns into free lunches for Itailian and Asian. $ for dinner. However, a great use of space.

If you like good food, good entertainment, and more things to do and see… book something else.

Get to the deck early to get a good chair! People grab up the seats near the pool and traffic early to have a seat in the sun and watch the people and big screen tv!

Keep your expectations low and you’ll have fun. Don’t go spring break week.

Bring aloe...ships general store doesn't have any in case of sunburn
PainInTheBoat
I loved the adult scavenger hunt activity. This ship also has the coolest waterfall pool that is completely empty if you go at the right times i.e when most people are eating dinner.

Skip this ship, Carnival has way better ships by far. (No sunshine class)

Bring decorations for your stateroom door (included magnetic hooks, magnets, etc).

If you are interested in cruising but kinda scared. Don't be take the trip it will be the best time you ever had. The sunshine is one of the smaller ships but it is the best one.

Pick a different ship and port when planning your cruise. Driving / flying to Florida would be worth it in my opinion.

Be prepared to go out of your way to get to some venues like the Sunrise Restaurant or Limelight Lounge.

Be prepared for inconsistent information given after booking and on board.

If you use a CPAP, bring an extension cord. We didn't have a plug close to the bed.
