Review summary

Well I am going to give my honest opinion on the sunshine! This was our first time and was very unhappy ! We are not those people who complain to complain we love the pride (our favorite) so first we had FTF luggage showed up after everyone got there's! Then bingo only 8 tables where they do it so had to do bingo on our laps! Every morning at 6am had to walk for miles for coffee ! (Every morning )Went to first station there was coffee no cups and second station cups no coffee! 3rd station again no sugar! It was a mission ! By the 3rd day room service 6 am coffee! Food horrible ! The layout of ship was very confusing ! Only certain elevators go to certain floor ! Hospitality was ok. But it could of been better !

acameron10, I was sad before the cruise when you said you couldn't go. I wish I had known you went. It would have been nice to meet you. Sorry you had a bad time.

not enough entertainment on the boat. my attitude is that i spent over 4,500. for my spa suite n i am not a first time cruiser. guest services are you joking we waited on line for an hour to ask where my daughters birthday cash bar credit was. every other ship i been on the first formal night everyone met the captain. we didnt even see the man.. if you are gonna do a cruise with a flight. u always fly in the day before . any moron kns that.. that i cruise out of nyc and always have all 5 of my cruises.. 3 were carnival. the cruise was not to my liking or fun for me n my 13 passengers.. thank you.. my opinion. thx

Just because you disagree no reason to call names and tell people not to cruise again. .

She left HER opinion not yours. You had a great cruise.....nice post your review do not be rude to others that did not enjoy their cruise.

GIL, i didn't say i didn't agree, and I didn't say she was wrong, so be careful there. Her whole attitude is off-putting, to me; those were the biggest issues she encountered on her vacation?? And "the list goes on and on"?? Sweet Jesus. And boy are you right; some people will never be happy.

No, she is just being honest and reflecting her opinions. Just because you do not agree does not mean she is wrong. Not every Carnival cruise passenger is 100% happy like YOU think they should be. True of any cruise line.

Got it, catwoman. First of all, there are many factors which can affect a ship's ability to get to a port "on time". You make it sound like it was the captain's intention and fault. Secondly, getting back to port on time, if at all possible, is hugely important, as others are waiting there to board your ship. (You complain he got you back in time, and surely would have complained if he got you back late, especially if you had to catch a flight.) As for your cabin conditions, how did guest services handle your issue? Not enough partying for you? Geez, the list really does go on and on. Surely there was SOMETHING you enjoyed about an 8 day cruise which had 3 ports and 4 sea days?? Or maybe not. Attitude is everything.

srry i am with u on this on. i been on carnival before 2x n this was my worse cruise ever. we had to cancel excursions for the delays. he was late for ports we paid for but on time getting home. i was in the spa suite n had to clean my own bathroom n ask for toilet paper. there not enough entertainment on the boat at all. the adult club opened once. its not being whiney. u didnt experience stuff we did.. after 9pm. there was nothing to do.. this cruise sucked like it or not.. a deck party for 1/2hr is not a party.

The coffee complaint is totally legitimate. Cups with coffee is a need not an entitlement.

Thank you Levine ! This sight is for suggestions and to share your experience and when you do share people just come down on you like your not supposed to have an opinion! The word entitled keeps coming up! I guess they feel entitled to down people's opinions ! I love to cruise I shared what I went thru to see if anyone else had the same experience not to share and get targeted! Just crazy!!

I feel your pain. I had the same incident on magic over a month ago. Either they are short of help or they're not training the new help.We can only hope for the best next time.

This was a rough cruise for you after surgery, being picked out of a crowd for being handicapped is rude in deed. I did hope you were relaxing with a cocktail recuperating. Sorry it didn't go well for you.

As I explained I mentioned things that bothered me so they may of been unnecessary to you but meant something to me! I am not the typical snob cruiser but it bothered me and the list does go on! Of how the cruise director embarrassed me in from of everyone at the morning show calling me out and asking me why I had s walker and what my injury was in front of about 50 people So my list goes on and on and on. I do not have not a bad thing to say about the pride. So I don't feel entitled just my opinion we actually was going to cancel but my doc was on vacation and the filler doc wound not give me a letter for insurance. But I do have to say sunshine was awesome s with handicapped people !

She is complaining on unnecessary things here lol first my honest opinion the food wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either I know if it was a small portion order two lol. This was my first cruise and I even figure out the whole ship layout. Only complains I have was the delay to Puerto Rico and Grand Turf we only had about 2 to 3 hrs to tour the country if anything people should be complaining of that. Beside that everything was great people want luxury and if you want luxury then pay up more I'm just saying.

I don't drink coffee so wouldn't have noticed, but that, and the food may be the only valid complaint. it has been a while since I was on the sunshine but I could have eaten guys burgers everyday. the ship layout was similar to most ships and easy to figure out. Bingo 2as in the main show room which had plenty of seating with tables built into the seats. at least the upper balcony had the type that fold out from the seat. my only complaint was the choice of flooring on the lido deck. Way too slippery when wet which it always seamed to be. things could have been better but not worth letting it ruin my vacation. It is important to note, I don't like cruising. I only do it for the wife. the exception may be any Alaska cruise. last one was fantastic, but 11 of the 15 days was spent on land. lol sorry you didn't have a good time.

Always have coffee delivered to room, not the specialty but helps me get moving, FTTF doesn't garantee early luggage delivery just that your room will be ready, be early for things you want to do to guarantee a seat with table, load the Hub App has deck plans, if you are a true coffee addict bring your own sugar packs and flavored creamers. NO ONE wrecks my first cup of coffee â.
