Review summary

The crew was excellent but be prepared to wait a little longer for everything. Unfortunately the ship is understaffed currently but that should improve with time.

Ship experiences

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was still the usual excellent service you expect from the great carnival staff even though they are understaffed, which was confirmed by the cruise director in her Q&A.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Constantly cleaning and well maintained for an older ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was nice. It was a little noisy being next to the elevators and the shower curtain was worthless. It was about 2 inches too short so the bathroom floor would get completely soaked when you took a shower. But otherwise it was in good shape and clean.

Ship tip

If you have Anytime Dining expect to wait much longer than the estimated wait time in the Hub app. The wait was typically twice as long as estimated on the app.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

4 out of 5
They need to use facial recognition.

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It went quick and easy because we did self assist and had priority disembarkation but Not having the facial recognition at the Port of Tampa definitely made the wait longer than the ports with facial recognition. It had been a while since we actually had to stop at customs and show our passports and declare our purchases.
