Review summary
My two friends and I decided to take this cruise together without our husbands. Getting on was no problem as we were in our room about 10 minutes after we checked in. Luckily, we all had separate rooms right near each other, so we all unpacked and went directly to lunch in the Paris dining room. We appreciated the map on the wall at each elevator so we could find our way as the ship is so large. I really can't complain about the food in the Paris and I especially enjoyed the daily specialty food items, such as Italian, Caribbean, etc. My favorite nosh there was the salsa which was freshly made each day. The breakfast omelette was great, and we also loved the Chinese lunch where you selected your own fresh vegetables and meat and they cooked it for you right there. Of course, the best dining experience of all was in the Elation dining room. We sat at a different table each night and found that the servers were so friendly and helpful and personable. Our fave was Slavisa and we even had a conversation with him about his country. It was fun one night when we were asked to join the waiters to dance in the aisle. The food here was always delicious and you could order as much as you wanted. My faves were the lobster and shrimp and also the delicious Caesar salad. We enjoyed the anytime dining and were seated almost immediately when we arrived there. Our plan of action on the ship was to play mah jongg every day as I had brought my set along. It would be nice if they had a room and some sets where other people could play as this is such a popular game. We saw some people playing some cards and games in the library but not mah jongg. Anyway, we chose a location by the internet cafe and suddenly two ladies saw us and stopped to talk. I discovered they were both from my home town in Ohio and they asked if they could join us. So we ended up playing with them several times during the cruise. I played a game of scattergories and came in second place. My friend and I used the exercise equipment one day, but did not join in any other of the daily activities. The shows featuring the singers and dancers were outstanding, and even the cruise director was remarkable with his fiddle. Another great show was the comedian who had us in stitches. Of course we all loved getting off the ship and visiting Cozumel and Grand Cayman. We went to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel and to Cemetery Beach in Grand Cayman. In Grand Cayman, I snorkeled for the first time as we were on a fabulous uncrowded beach. Another highlight is when we went to the Breezes bar in downtown GC and had scrumptious strawberry daiquiris. The weather was great that week but I never sat in the sun up on the deck where the pool was. The music was broadcast on loud speakers and it was just too much ruckus for me. So my friends and I basically just walked from one side to the other and did not linger there. There were all ages of people on the ship and I think it is a super fun idea for anyone who enjoys getting away from it all in a very unique and pleasant manner. I would definitely recommend this reasonably priced fun cruise to any of my acquaintances.

Ship tip
Go to the Chinese restaurant for lunch where you can choose your own vegetables and meat and have it made right there. Delicious.
