Review summary

This was the first year that we did not have family coming for Christmas so we decided to do the Christmas cruise on the Carnival Magic. Best decision we ever made. Instead of constant cooking and cleaning, it was being pampered and waited on. Everyone was so nice and really made the trip outstanding. My wife and I are 60ish and we even went zip-lining in the Honduras. On Christmas, Carnival even made it snow in the atrium while everyone sang Let it Snow. It will go down as one of our most memorable Christmas' for sure.

My wife is celiac and the ship made special dishes for her every evening and they even had gluten free pizza crust so she could have pizza while watching the movies.

Always seemed like there was something to do or going on. Never got bored.

I have to admit here was a little disappointing. The singers and dancers were very talented but the choreography was terrible.

The ship is kept emaculate all the time. You are always seeing crew cleaning

Cabin / Stateroom

Just remember you can have them make your twin beds into a queen before you get there so you have one big bed instead of two small ones. We like the inside staterooms because when you turn out the lights, it is pitch dark until you are ready to get up.

Ship tip

We have been on 6 cruises and never watched the movies at night on the big screen. Do watch if you get the chance. They are a great way to relax in the afternoon and they usually have really good movies.

We have been three times so the best thing to us is the shopping. Stop in at Touch of Gold and pick up some very nice cultured pearls at a really low price.

The absolute best excursion on the trip will be the cave tubing with lunch. Don't pass it up.

Very small but very pretty place. We think that the Zip Lines were the best choice for an excursion.
