It was a gorgeous ship. Especially liked the Red Frog Pub and Serenity deck areas.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had requested anytime dining but had booked too late to get it so tried to change our dining time when we boarded the ship. We couldn't do that so were stuck with the 8:15 time which was a little too late for us. We ended up going to the Lido buffet area a couple of times when we didn't want to eat that late and were very disappointed in the quality and selection of food. The Northern Lights dining room, however, had excellent food and wonderful service.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Variety and comedy shows were good. Otherwise, not enough options that we were interested in.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room staff was exceptional, but I didn't feel the Lido buffet staff was real friendly or helpful. There was one bartender in the Red Frog Pub from Nigeria who had been with Carnival for 19 years who was very friendly and welcoming--don't remember his name.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was exceptionally clean. It had a familiar layout that was easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our balcony stateroom was on Deck 6 near the forward elevators. It was very comfortable and convenient. Room steward did great job taking care of our every need. We always enjoy the towel animals and usually took pictures of them each evening.

Pros: Cleanliness and beauty of ship, especially as decorated for the holidays

Cons: Debarkation process in ports
