Review summary

While being an older ship in need of updates it was very comfortable. The people made it a great cruise. I loved our dining room staff, Tuty, Ryan and Tom were all great. And the idea of putting a dozen singles together at one shared table was BRILLIANT.

Embarkation

This despite a 5 hr. bus ride from Baltimore to Newark. I thought it would be a disaster - Carnival did a WONDERFUL job. Exceeded all expectations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Still the best steakhouse on the seas AND the best Chef's table.

N/A this was all about ME time

Entertainment

Everything was "okay" - nothing outstanding, nothing cripplingly bad

It was OLD...and dated...and in need of some repairs. Some I was able to do, others, like electrical switches and safe updates had to be done by crew.

I was able to walk out, grab my luggage and step into a taxi. Total elapsed time, including customs, 25 minutes. Without customs it would have been 10
