Review summary

Had a great time on this cruise. We had two medical evac situations, one by boat from Cozumel and the other via the US Coastguard. The crew of this ship handled both situations very professionally and took care to keep passengers informed. We also encountered some awesome crew members during our stay - Our cabin steward, Ru, was awesome and very attentive. There was also a drink waiter that always had a smile from ear to ear whenever he came by, very friendly and helpful. They made our experience a good one!

A bit about the ports - Roatan was beautiful - not much to do there but very relaxing. Belize was kind of disappointing - they've got some work to do on their infrastructure - the city, the shops, the roads and the housing around the port are in very poor shape. Cozumel never disappoints. All in all, it was a good trip. Fun experience - next stop Bahamas! =)

I've been on ships that have offered Taco bars, that would have been nice on this ship. The dream offers their buffet, pizza (delicious), burgers and hot dogs, then the evening dining options that could include specialty restaurants if you want to pay a little extra - which we did for the Steakhouse - it was delicious. There was also a Pasta Bar - but it had off hours..and wasn't easily found. The other thing we noticed was the hours seemed to changed everyday for our dining options around the ship.

Good cabin - although out of the 5 couples in our groups - we all had issues with our beds sliding apart. They basically take the two twin beds, slide them together to make a king bed - which is okay but our beds kept sliding apart during the night. Maybe they need to get a mattress cover to keep them together if they are going to offer a King option to prevent this.

Ship tip

We learned from another passenger that you can order a banana split at dinner even though it's not on the dessert menu - great option.

Don't pay the extra money for the clam shell - you can get a lounge chair for free. The sky lift was cool - but it's within walking distance from the boat.

Always fun. We booked an excursion through Cozumel Cruise Excursions - the boat was very slow and run down. Try another snorkel company.
