Review summary

We love to cruise with Carnival, know what to expect and how things should go.  Our room was always kept neat and supplied with fresh towels, the wait staff was extremely polite and attentive, the food was delicious and varied.  The only negative was that there was not enough time in port to allow for an excursion and shopping, at least, not in Jamaica.  Other than that, the weather contributed nicely, the water in the gulf remained calm, and the entertainment was wonderful.  We especially enjoyed the Sea Day Brunch menu, and my wife took advantage of the Spa Package for the Aroma Therapy area.  We also took advantage of the extra 15% off sale prices for the first 2 full days of sailing by getting some pretty neat merchandise.  Overall, this cruise was one of the best we have been on.  We highly recommend this cruise.

Ship Quality

The ship swayed a lot, but it was not an uncomfortable thing

Cabin / Stateroom

Our first time in an inside cabin. It was small, but we expected that, but the luggage fit under the bed, it was always clean, and we enjoyed it a lot. Bring a power strip to plug your devices into, as there is only one plug in the cabin, and when you have to power up 2 cell phones and 2 iPads, you need more.

Ship tip

Buy on board during the 15% extra off ALL products. That's tax free and duty free. Includes liquor, watches, and perfumes

Shop at the dock, prices around are higher. Tour of Dunn's River Falls was great, but too rushed
