Review summary

Cruising on the Carnival Dream has pros and cons. For such a large ship the ease of checking in and out at the pier was outstanding. Also it was very easy to get on and off at the ports of call. We were a little disappointed with the activites. Previous Carnival cruises we have taken have had more on-board activities to choose from. The shows at the main theatre featured average singers and dancers except for one night when the break-dancers were featured. The Comedy Club was a good option and was always crowded. The food and service at the sit-down restaurant was good. We liked the option of the sit-down comedy brunch offered on seat days. It was tough to find a chair outside but this was because the cruise was sold-out. Overall I would recommend this cruise for the value

Ship tip

The Comedy Brunch is nice if you like to sleep late and like to avoid the craziness of the buffets.
