Review summary

I cruised on Carnival Freedom about six month ago. This ship had less pools and less activities, although this ship cruised with 1800 more passangers. there was to many gap of times onboard the ship that there was nothing to do. The music availability was very limited. Even in the pool deck, during many times the pool would be full of people and there was no music playing at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The program in which you can dine at your own time worked perfect. We did not had to plan around our dinning time.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
I been cruising with Carnival and Royal Carribean for the past 6 years and have done 10 cruises. By far\, the activities wariety and options were the worst I have had. We had way to much free time while on the ship and had nothing to do or see. We found ourself many times at the pool deck with many other people and they had no music or activities going. They have a jumbo tron that it is not being used in a smart manner.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is bigger than others\, but most of the space was used to get more rooms for sleeping. The layout could work better\, if the activities throughout the ship were scheduled better.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
For a ship only 3 years old\, I think the carpets through the ship looked very worned out. Either the carpet was of low cost or not intended for 4500 people to walk on it on a weekly basis.

Pros: Dine at your own time

Cons: Activities on the ship were very limited for a ship with 4500 people
