Good quality souvenir shop on the dock. Also, the Ushuaia hop-on hop-off bus is easy to catch right across the street from the port terminal in the square. The fare is very inexpensive.

Take the ferry to the penquin island. This is the best variety of penguins - we saw Gentoos, Magellans, and 2 kings!

independent tours with smaller buses more valuable here - we used Soloexpeditiones and they were wonderful

We booked a tour with Tierra del Fuego Aventura EVyT. Ruth was very friendly handling the private tour. So was Frederico our guide and Daniel our driver. We did the Train and Tierra de Fuego Park. Nice relaxing nature and lakes. Would definitely recommend. We liked the port itself too.
