The citadel and the tour of it were interesting but the city had little to offer. I wish that we had been given a better description of the morning walking tour of Blaye the next day. The people who took it said it was great!

The citadel was worth every moment and we only saw a potion of it.

A great tour of the citadel; but not much to do in the town otherwise. Stopped for a glass of wine and got to sip a Viognier instead of the usual Bordeaux we'd been enjoying all ship!
