A: Any tender port is higher risk for cancellation due to weather. In general, particularly if you book through an excursion company, they will refund you if your ship skips a port. You may have to contact them and request a refund. Cruise line excursio... ns are simple and they automatically credit your account.See More

A: Often enough for this to be if concern. Though sea conditions might be fine for your large cruise ship, it could still be too rough for the tender boats. Refunds from 3rd party excursion or tour companies will be covered in their FAQ pages or on your... receipt/confirmation. Some sticklers don't distinguish between hotel and cruise tourists some they may require few hours to a week's notice for a refund.See More

A: I was the in December, the weather was bad. My excursion had 2 parts, land and sea. The sea part was cancelled due to weather. The excursion was booked through the cruise. When we arrived to the island, the guide told us about the cancellation and ga... ve us 2 options. 1- cancel the whole thing, get money back and go back to the cruise. 2- do the land part and they would do a partial refund. Since we were there already decided to stay and get the partial refund and they did on the same day. I hope this helps with your question.See More

A: Remember this us a tender, where you anchor a mile or 2 off the coast of the island abd can be easily canceled if seas are too rough for the water taxis between the dock & ship. Passengers with ship sponsored excursions will have prior off ship board... ing of the tenders, so opt for 1 of those or plan on as you go options like 7 Mile Beach or the Turtle Farm that you don't have worry about meeting a 3rd party tour.See More

A: I can confirm. Turtle sanctuary is a great little tour that also incorporated the rum factory. I'm sure the age limit in the Caribbean for rum is 1yr old☺️

A: Yes. But, the tenders come and go quite frequently, so you needn't worry about being stuck on the ship for a few hours before finally having a chance to get off!

A: We booked a ship’s excursion to visit both the Turtle Center and Stingray City. Turtle Center was so-so, swimming and feeding the stingrays was far better. Driving can be busy around the island so stick with a ship excursion or a taxi that you can de... pend on.See More
