Sounds like a lot of things you get included in NCL's Platinum level and up tiers. Are some of these things included at no cost for their past customers.

Hi Kev and jackie. Lynn here, and thanks for the very nice review and also the way its worded, is wonderful.

Nice to see a lovely post and truthful content.

Thank you

We have had this in the past and it was worth it for us because we were buying internet anyway and it worked out to be only about $50 difference for that particular sailing, it varies by sales on the key and internet etc. !

With that being said on that particular sailing I already had a 1030 check in reserved before i reserved key, so i am pretty sure i would have been on the ship around the same time anyway, the chops lunch in the main dining room was ok! Food was great but to me chops lunch is more the whole experience with the BEST service on the ship, main dining room on debarkation day was littered with luggage and people not knowing what was going on caused the not the best service....Still great food and service was still great, just not the SPECIALTY UPCHARGE SERVICE that is always worth it in the resturant!

Wifi was exactly as advertised

Priority Seating.....Yes, Just so happened we were on a ship with over 60 pins and it seemed they had a higher priority, rightfully so in my mind, but that is another debate.

We docked at all 6 ports and never had priority tenders so that never came into play, and quite honestly im not sure i can see this as being a selling point, combined as a package it is nice.

Debarkation was the best part for me, after being away 12 days i actually had to work the day we got home and ship cleared customs at 640 am and we were on the road out iof the parking garage and on the highway at 715!

So i believe there is no ONE main thing that makes the Key worth it, but a combination of all the perks that could make it valuable to someone!

Hope that helps!

We were very happy for purchasing The Key. We got on the ship (Freedom of the Seas) early with wonderful one on one service we’ve never had. You’re directed to enter The Key section where you have a seat in a very nice seating center and served refreshments. A check in agent comes to you and checks you in. When you’re ready you can board the ship with no crowds then brought to the main dining room where a delicious lunch was served from Chops. Our carry on suitcases were brought straight to our room while we ate.
During the cruise you had reserved seating to shows and first to get on the Tender to Nassau’s Blue Lagoon.

Our debarkation was wonderful for us too as our luggage was brought down for us and placed in a special section for The Key cruisers. We went to the main dining room for a delicious breakfast and then leisurely got off the ship and picked up our luggage. We have never had such a wonderful experience getting on or off a ship. It was always crowded, rushed, people rushing to be first…horrible!
if you can afford to splurge on a vacation then do and get The Key. That was our experience and advice. Happy

Anywhere from $19.99USD per passenger per day to $60USD/Passenger/Day

What is the money on this ?

I considered it for a hot 5 min. However, none of it is appealing at all, especially for the price point.

My wife and I thought we would try it once but after the cruise really thought it wasn't worth it. Doesn't really give you much. Sounds better than it is.
