vacaymode - glad to be of service! I own thousands of shares of headache powder companies!! Thanks for the info about the car rentals! Our next cruise is 109 days away out of NOLA! Hope you have a great cruise! Brian

teamhutchens Happy. You are making my head hurt. Noe let me try to help you out. I read the Port of Miami 2017 Cruise Guide that some car rental agencies do some business at the Port of Miami and they provide courtesy shuttles to their remote locations off the port. You would have to contact the car agency directly to see which companies do it. Good luck!

I actually called the hotel that we will be staying at before the cruise and they offer parking packages. I called and they offered to waive my parking fee. I will just have to pay a small shuttle fee to and from the port. It is so worth it!

I have not seen the shuttle vans, that would be great.

Now, to make your brain hurt some, think about dropping everyone off at the port, going to the airport lot, dropping the car off and ubering over to the port by myself. BUT, then I would have to go back and get the car when off the cruise, come back to the port and pick everyone up OR get them to uber back to the airport.

OK, I actually did the legwork and found out that the airport Long Term Parking is $17 a day, negating any cost benefit.

gawd, ain't yall glad not to be in my head a lot?

Thanks so much Toddthecruiser! $20 per day for parking. Wow!

Well at least I learned something! Happy

Another one of Baks favorite one post wonder I guess.

Parking is $20/night according to the website. Here's a link to some useful information about the port for cruisers:

The distance between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Port Miami is 7 miles. The distance from Port Miami to Miami Beach is 4 miles. There is ample parking at PortMiami for vehicles of cruise passengers and a free, wheelchair accessible shuttle to pick-up passengers and their luggage from their cars and drop them off at their designated cruise terminal. General Fees Long term cruise passengers should expect to pay $20 per night, while the daily rate is $7 for short-term parking. There is no reserved parking, however, there is ample space available.
