Great cruise! Had a wonderful time!
We had a balcony room, which was spacious and private. We could sit out and watch the ocean, view the ports, etc. Very nice and worth the extra cost. The steward was great and very efficient. Each morning, my husband would order room service to have his coffee delivered to the room. The food was good. We ate the breakfast buffet most mornings. It was pretty much the same stuff each morning, but you did have a variety of items to pick from. At lunch, we ate at the buffet (which was ok, nothing great about the lunch buffet) some days, but preferred to eat at Guy's Burgers...delicious...but a bit greasy. At dinner, we had the early dining time and our wait staff was fabulous as was the food!
We attended several musical shows, some comedy shows and piano music man. It was good entertainment.
We were overall very pleased with the cruise & can't wait to go on another one!
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We bought the excursion for 2 to ride the sky tram to the beach, snorkel & kayak. We enjoyed these activities. The beach is close to where the ship docks.
We took a cab ($5 each person, each way) to the 7 Mile beach (public beach) and swam there. It was crowded, but a nice beach. My husband rented snorkel gear for the day. Also had to take a tender from the ship to land. It was a short 5-7 minute ride.
We did not actually go into Belize. You have to take a tender from the ship to the land. We were told the ride was about 15-20 minutes. I get sea sick easily and didn't want to risk it. Belize looked beautiful from what we could see.
We shopped in Cozumel, but we heard that they had some great beaches. If you are shopping, take your time and shop around.
We did not take any excursions in Miami.
