April 2024 - 7 nights on Anthem of the Seas
Great with some Exceptions
As previously described all was good to great on Anthem.
However we decided to do April Cruise instead of May to Go on Anthem's last cruise in the U.S..
Major mistake. 1500- kids on board.
Free Range Children running wild for 7 Days. Totally disruptive for the most part with minimal exception. During Virtual Symphony we had to call for attendants to stop unruly Brats from running all over the theater.
It lasted till attendants left and free range parents sat at the bar using their drink PKG. Running in the Hallways rampant entire cruise. Best behaved children some but very few U.S. children and all Chinese Children. I guess they still teach manners in China. Maybe China can put a course on raising children on Tik Tok

Very Good Cruise Overall
Second cruise on Carnival Venezia.
As good or even slightly better than first.
We knew the layout, knew the elevator system, knew the food we wanted to eat.
Elevators are great if used correctly. There are pods by the elevator. You simply push the floor u want once for each person. That is key. It will give you an elevator letter. You stand there and wait for your elevator. Pretty simple yet for some very difficult.
Casino was a premier party and in the end it was worth it.
They lied about Drink PKG as it was only in the Casino. However they perks otherwise we're beyond expectations. So I immediately took 600.00 out of my gambling money and bought my drinks for 9 days.

Met and for the most part exceeded expectations. Negs were Some small spaces, very small Casino w no bar. Terrible Escargot served in a Brulee bowl. Come on man.
Everything else was 5 stars but I love Escargot and the Casino and drinking while Gambling. So this mattered

Ship is easily navigated. Be sure to see and bring a camera to Virtual Shows.
Carnival Venezia
If you get the drink PKG in Casino only prepare to be let down. Somewhat small venues, so arrive early. Cocktails 17.00 per so best to buy drink PKG.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
You will pay for drinks on Private Island, even w drink.pkg.
