Review summary

This was our second time to sail with Holland America Cruise Lines. Last year we toured the Panama Canal for the 11-day cruise and this past week we took the 19 day Land & Sea Cruise to Alaska. We were on land for 12 days and the last 7 days were the Inside Passage. We did land and shore excursions every day in each port and we were amazed with the total organization that Holland America brings. This trip was a lot of money but one that I totally recommend if you want to see ALL of Alaska - even took a plane to the Arctic Circle. I believe Holland is the best cruise to take for Alaska. They go \"more in depth\" into Alaska and seem to have all the land and sea excursions that everyone and anyone would like to do.

We were so busy doing land and sea excursions that we did not have time to take in the Dining Room but ate each night on the Lido deck. Their food was delicious and a large variety.

The ship staff was \"above and beyond\" while they were working and making our trip a delightful one.

We stayed in the balcony and it was truly amazing standing outside as we cruised through Glacier Bay.
