Review summary

This was such a relaxing vacation. I felt that my husband and I had a myriad of options aboard the Zaandam: Dining, entertainment, quiet spaces, lectures, cooking demonstrations and shopping. I should also mention spa treatments. I would recommend this ship and Holland America for vacations.

We didn't see all the shows but what we saw were very entertaining.

This is what makes the Holland American line shine. Their people are amazing.

I thought the ship size was perfect. It wasn't too large.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was larger than expected and very appealing.

Pros: The ship was beautifully appointed and the staff was exceptional.

Cons: The check-in in San Diego. Two ships were checking in passengers at the same time.
