HAL caters to the more mature travelers. The ship is nicely equipped and easy to navigate.

Especially enjoyed the buffet dining. Excellent throughout the cruise. The regular dining room suffered from somewhat slow service.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. Our stateroom steward knew us by name and went out of his way to keep everything tidy.

We had around 1,400 on this cruise so the ship is not the largest going. Staff kept everything very clean.

Pros: Holland America and their attention to detail. Food was outstanding in the buffet.
