Review summary

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful except as noted below. We appreciated the smaller size of the ship and the presence of gathering areas that were more intimate.

The food was good. They are attempting to blend the traditional dining model (assigned table/seating time) with more freestyle options. However there are few options and reservations are needed but not adequately available. The cruiseline would be wise to give this more focus.

Entertainment

"Showroom" entertainment was pretty amateurish. Performers in the smaller lounges was excellent. Appreciated the presence of a string quartet on board.

Only issue was a defective thermostat in the room. 4 people came to validate the problem, but it took numerous calls and 2 days for the simple swap-out of the module to be completed.

Pros: smaller size

Cons: they need to refine the dining structure
