Review summary
My wife and I got married on the old Veendam of Holland America on December 3rd 1983 while docked at the Port of Tampa/Florida. Since then we have taken more than a dozen cruises, mostly with HAL. The food, service and entertainment on these ships is unsurpassed. Cleanliness is also impeccable. Again, on the Zaandam, our first time on this ship, we were not disappointed. From the captain down to the dishwasher, it felt like one big familyPros: food and impeccable service on the ship, plus the cast of singers and dancers
