This was my first cruise. The service and staff were excellent. I was disappointed in the activity options. And I really didn't care for the the sales pitch at the end of all of the "free" seminars. I felt like the cruise line was trying to get as much money as possible out of me. The port call in Haines was the best, because we were the only ship there. There were 4-5 ships in Juneau and Ketchikan, so it really felt like a cattle call. I much preferred the land portion of the trip. The hotel in Denali was outstanding!
Embarkation

The weather was absolutely horrible (windy and rainy) when we got to the ship. The staff got us on board quickly and efficiently. They also provided late dinners for us. That was great!

Food and Dining

Great food. We had a drink package, so that was easy!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I was very disappointed with the activity options. I'm not a spa person, so that didn't interest me. Every free seminar ended with a sales pitch to buy something. I really didn't like that. And the cruise line really pushed high end jewelry. That's not why I chose a cruise.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The Lincoln Center shows were good, though the space was small, so you had to get there early to get a seat. The big stage shows were okay, though nothing to write home about. The best were the educational shows. Frankly, I didn't think there was enough to do.

The gentlemen assigned to my cabin were delightful and very attentive. They were always available and spoiled us.

Our travel agent signed us up to be taken directly to the airport in Vancouver with our bags, so that we went through US Immigration very quickly. I highly recommend that.
