Review summary

Our cruise was an extraordinary adventure, leaving us with lasting memories and an undeniable eagerness to return. While every aspect of the cruise contributed to its brilliance, it was the exceptional dining hall experience, curated by the outstanding duo Alvira and Rajendra, that stood out as the crowning jewel of our journey.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining options exceeded expectations, offering a diverse and delightful array of culinary experiences. From the refined elegance of the main dining rooms to the gourmet excellence of specialty restaurants and the abundance of the buffets, the ship's culinary team showcased their dedication to providing an exceptional dining journey for guests. With a blend of exquisite flavors, attentive service, and inviting atmospheres, the dining options aboard contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of the cruise, making it a memorable culinary adventure on the high seas. I enjoyed everything that I tried!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My children loved the living room and rock climbing wall, while I enjoyed the hot tubs and relaxing seating with views.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The silent party and adult quest was my favorite. However I enjoyed all the entertainment except the comedian. He was not very funny and seemed to be picking on the crowd.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My children loved the kid's club and entertainment! They have ranted and raved about all of the fun they had on the ship!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every night my family of 21 would meet in the main dining hall. Each night, our culinary journey was elevated by the outstanding service and warm hospitality of Alvira and her assistant Rajendra in the main dining hall at Table 920. Their dedication to ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional left an indelible mark on our cruise memories. Alvira and Rajendra, the dynamic duo overseeing our table, impressed us with their unparalleled friendliness and professionalism. From the moment we sat down, they made us feel like honored guests, and their attention to detail was truly commendable. The efficient and prompt service they provided each night added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. One of the standout features of Alvira and Rajendra's service was their attentiveness to our needs, particularly in keeping our glasses full. No sooner did our drinks reach a slightly low level than Rajendra would magically appear, ensuring that our glasses were promptly refilled. Their proactive approach contributed to a seamless and relaxed dining atmosphere, allowing us to focus on the joy of shared meals and conversation. A notable highlight of our dining experience was the exceptional care given to accommodating dietary restrictions. Personally having a restrictive diet that excludes mammal products, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of consideration and expertise demonstrated by Alvira, Rajendra, and the talented chef. Each night, they went above and beyond to create delicious and satisfying meals that adhered to my dietary preferences. Their collaborative efforts not only showcased their culinary skills but also emphasized their commitment to ensuring every guest's dining needs were met. Alvira, Rajendra, and the chef's genuine concern for our dining satisfaction, combined with their remarkable efficiency, created an atmosphere that felt like an extension of our family gatherings. Their warmth and attention turned each meal into a celebration, making Table 920 a place where cherished memories were formed.

Ship Quality

Everything was very clean and the layout was easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was very clean, however the size of our room felt very cramped. I wish there was more space to store my belongings.

Ship tip

I typically only drink water, but thought I had to purchase a drink package. I did not really need that package. My fiancé had the coffee package and it did not feel like it was worth it.

This port was beautiful and there was a variety of shopping that could be done without leaving the port. Getting off and on the boat was a very easy process.

Disembarkation

I really appreciated that we were given a time to leave from the boat. I expected it to be a lengthy process, however our departure time was 9:00 and we were getting in our rideshare at 9:10. I was very impressed!

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. Good to read a thorough summary and helpful for those who are new to cruising... I was going to joke about the cabin feeling small or crowded with 21 people... If you all were on the same deck you would take over the stairs or the elevators at dinner time!

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your cruise, specifically the food part as most critiques these days, from any ships, is quality of food... Tks for sharing
