Review summary
Normally we sail with Carnival, but wanted to check out something different. So as a first timer with Royal Caribbean, we were pleasantly surprised. This was the largest ship we have ever been on so loved the spaciousness of everything.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Cafe Promenade
Loved this spot for a midnight snack, quick cup of coffee, or our favorite... some Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Placement on the promenade got tight at times but was a daily visit for us.
Windjammer Marketplace
Good was good, service even better, and traffic control was great. Seemed pretty spacious, so never have to search for seats
Onboard Activities
Rock Climbing Wall
Husband loved the climbing wall. I'm happy to cheer him on, which my feet firmly planted in the ground (or at least a floating one)
Dunes Mini Golf
This left a bit to be desired. Biggest issue was there was no guards to prevent balls from leaving the course. At one point we had to chase down a flight of stairs for ours 😆. Could be designed better but was a fun thing to do
Swimming Pools
Loved the pools and layout. Never seemed to crowded.
