Should have lowered expectations for my first cruise.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
My expectations may have been too high. Everyone talks about how wonderful the food is and it just seemed ok in the main dining area. The buffet was not great.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I am not sure what I was expecting but the activities available seemed boring unless you wanted to pay for them. The two I enjoyed were surfing and rock climbing, although I did not really feel like I was taken seriously or given much education about either and it was my first time to try both. The pools are super tiny and crowded.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The performers were absolutely amazing except the comedian, in my opinion.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
No complaints, they were all nice.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The hallway to our room was dirty so that was disappointing. Also, the room was nice but it felt old even though it was just renovated.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was fine - was hoping the balcony (bottom part) was clear glass instead of solid, it felt old even though it was all recently updated, especially the bathroom.
Ship tip
Not sure since it was my first cruise so I cannot compare to anything else.
Disappointed. Everything was over priced. For example, I bought a pair of false eyelashes on the cruise ship for $9 (which is already higher than I usually pay) and I found the exact pair in Cozumel for $11. My expectations were too high I suppose, I was thinking things would be much more affordable there.
Pretty fair. More activities do cost. Food has always been good in my opinion but not amazing. Service has always been solid, lot of great staff. The show and ship conditions can be hit or miss.
