Review summary

This was my first cruise ever and I was not impressed. The food was not hot. The drinks were watered down. The smell at my door was horrible. I was bored.

There was such a foul and disgusting odor in my hallway. Because our room was on the end everyone piled their plates up across from our door. Not happy.

I think the cabin should come with a shower cap and a toothbrush and toothpaste and a bar of dove soap or nonallergenic soap.

There is lots to do on that ship. You just weren't willing to have fun and be active.

Sorry it didn’t measure up to your expectations. Everyone cruises for different reasons. We cruise to relax, watch the ocean roll past the ship on a sea day, forget the real world for a few days, and just enjoy each other. The food not being a “religious experience” and some not so perfect situations along the way, won’t dampen our enjoyment much. It’s a mindset.

I have been on the voyager of the seas on two different cruises Asia and New Zealand and both were great. Maybe try a road trip instead of a cruise.

I’m going on the Voyager of the Seas at the end of September and this review does not bode well for my trip. My last cruise was on the Liberty of the Seas and my wife and I were bored some of the time as well. We thought it was due to the cruise director being sick so we wanted to give Royal Caribbean another shot. My first two cruises (Carnival and Disney) were great. It sounds like Royal focuses on the attractions and doesn’t plan any unique activities. I would recommend trying a different cruise line before giving up.

Sure sounds like cruising is not for you. You didn’t like anything about it. That’s ok. There’s still plenty of us who love it! Cruising is the best vacation ever!!!

You need to bring your own toiletries. Cruising may not be your thing. We have been on like 14 cruises. Food has always been great and we have never been bored!

Sorry you were disappointed with your cruise. Before you give up on cruising, may I suggest trying other cruise lines before you give up on cruising.
