Great food, wonderful service, clean spacious cabin, great for relaxation. Saw lots of happy families, couples and groups of all ages enjoying themselves. The seas were also super calm, like glass, and this was with several storm systems in the Atlantic at peak hurricane season. (To be fair, the week before there was a rogue wind incident and there was flooding and breakage of dishes - cruising this time of year is definitely a crap shoot.) If you’re looking to save money vs the larger newer ships during calmer seasons, and you just want a nice getaway for not a ton of money, Voyager and this itinerary is a solid choice.

Food and Dining

Main dining was great. Have been on other RC ships where the food wasn’t good. The Indian food in WJ was excellent - they even had dosas. No complaints at all. We had the Chops filet one night in the main dining and that was also decent. One of the better ships as far as the food and service goes.
Onboard Activities

Solarium pool and the decks had some nice loungers that were comfortable and shady. Had Flowrider water slides mini golf sports court and a rock wall. They also offer cupcake making classes.
Entertainment

Ice show was pretty good - not all ships have a rink. You can also skate when there aren’t shows going on. Pig and whistle guitar player was good, too. Didn’t see many shows or acts on this ship.

The main dining and stateroom service as well as guest services next cruise and loyalty desk were all great. Some of the best we’ve cruised with.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were really pleased with the size, decor, location and comfort of this cabin. Felt larger than other balcony rooms we’ve had. Francisco took great care of us. You can see the wake from the balcony and it was on the pier side when we docked in costa Maya. Great for watching runners.
You can feel the propeller movement a little but I found it relaxing.
The decor was nice and everything worked well. Would recommend this cabin and the location - was super quiet.
Ship tip
Comfortable older ship with great perks good sized balcony rooms and good food. Favorites: WJ Indian food, solarium pool deck, Main Dining service, BBQ chicken pizza in cafe promenade.
Krazy lobster was a little rough around the edges and this time there were a ton of kids and families so it wasn’t quiet and relaxing, more like a mini-Cozumel. The pools at port were packed and extremely loud. We’ve had better times in this port so maybe it was just too many ships in port at once. We found a cute art shop with handmade stuff and enjoyed the shady beach. Service was good.
Great review. We sail our first RC cruise on the Voyager in November. Looking forward to seeing the differences in food, amenities, etc. Thanks again. See you onboard!
