Review summary

This was an awful cruise. This was so disappointing. I took my family and children on a cruise that was so delayed we got ONE hour on the beach in mexico, not to mention they were bored out of their mind on the ship. It was a waste of money.

We were just on vision with a 15year old. He had a BLAST! He had so much fun and wanted to keep doing all the activities. We also spoke with multiple families that had children in ocean adventure and they had so much fun too, never wanted to be with their parents. Sounds like cruising may not be for your family? Also depending upon what cruise you were on, the port of Cozumel was delayed and shortened but thankfully we go to go. At least the engine didn’t stop in the middle of the gulf and we would of had to be towed back in or something. Also if you were on this cruise, I feel grateful for the family that the captain turned the ship around for the family of the deceased. Sad it happened but if that would of been me with my family, I would of appreciated the extra attention and care!

We have been on the vision twice. We love it! Yes, it is older and doesn't have all of the fancy things that the mega ships have, but what those ships don't have is the exceptional service, the relationships that are formed with staff members and other Shipmates, and the more intimate atmosphere. We were never ever bored on this ship. We were up early in the morning and went to bed well after midnight and always had something to do. I am quite certain that we will do another cruise on the vision of the Seas at some point.

More research would have told you Vision isn’t great for kids. Been on her twice and loved her.

Sounds like cruising may not be the best option for you. The schedules and ports can change for many reasons - weather, mechanical issue, illness, etc. Usually ships follow their scheduled itinerary, but changes / delays do occur.
