Review summary

Our cruise was without a doubt a wonderful experience that we will LONG remember. We've already started getting ready for another one - we've always wanted to visit the British Isles, and now we think it might be good to do that by cruise!

Easy and as convenient as TSA security allows - Vision staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Food and Dining

Main dining rooms were fantastic, though the breakfast buffet did get a little old by the end. We tried Chops Grille, and the presentation and taste of the food was scrumptious, and the service was impeccable. The main dining room had a different menu each day, and not once did I order something I didn't like.

Schooner Bar

I LOVE this bar. It's a nook just above the portside deck, very cozy, with a piano. We did trivia, listened to lounge music, and received fantastic service from the bar. Richard in particular was very good to us, though everyone there was very kind.

Onboard Activities

The activities were ENDLESS and very enjoyable. We liked the trivia, the shows, the intimate jazz and lounge music, the 70's themed dances were a blast! There was one show that was a little on the rowdy side for our particular tastes - a late-night show in the Enchanted Evening lounge - but that's just our personal taste.

Entertainment

I was amazed the cruise director, activity director, and all others, were able to keep up with everything - they were everywhere, and so personable and friendly. The stage shows were very professionally done, and quite entertaining - I enjoyed several hearty laughs at some of the comedy shows.

Ship tip

Make sure you go to the Welcome in the Masquerade theater at the beginning. We missed a few things that took us a couple of days to figure out. Also, recommend installing the app on your phone before getting on, then using your phone in airplane mode to check events and other stuff on board.
