Review summary

Lots of memories made with my sister and i. everyone working for the Vision of the Sea made it very special for us. We enjoyed every venue offered and 1 extra was the Thriller Show my sister was in.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This is my second cruise so I only have I experience to base this on but embarkation in Vision of the Sea was so fast. From getting out of the shuttle and stepping into the ship maybe took 30 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining was good, our server Elana was excellent. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The buffet was your typical fair, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies and the like. Breakfast buffet was the same.

Lounge

2 out of 5

We asked the bartender in the Casino to make a White Russian in the blender and he made it with left-over ingredients. Tasted more like a Pina Colada.

Viking Crown Lounge

4 out of 5

The bardender made a fantastic Mudslide.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our Cruise activities director, Stave set up taught the Michael Jackson Thriller dance to those wanting to learn. My sister joined in and the put on the best show on the last night of the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stave Smith was the comedian. He was fantastic.

Children's Programs

I did not have children with me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward, Don was super.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I loved that it was a smaller ship and we didn't have very far to go for anything.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Jr Suite which have us plenty of room.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
We left from Galveston and arrived late so was only able to go to dinner but the Tremont House was fantastic.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We have been to Cozumel before and love going back. We went on the Fury Catamaran which was great, the crew was so much fun and very safety aware but I would have like to just snorkel instead of following the guy with the bouy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No problems, was very quick.

God did not give me a sister but I have a chosen sister ( BFF) that I love to cruise with. Always great to make those kind of memories!
