Review summary

Rule of thumb. When visiting a country, respect their rules and their ways of life. This Waterways of the Tsars cruise was an eye opener. I have completely changed my perspective about Russia and their people. Was completely surprised when we asked Russians and they said they wouldn't mind living all their life in Russia. The country is very discipline, orderly, clean and everything seem to be working well for them. People might not be smiling like crazy to you, but there's no frown or worries on their face. They seemed contented. And what's not to like, right?

Air passage was with Vikings. Upon airport arrival, met by Vikings, seamlessy transported in a timely manner to the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Quite good food choices, although wasn't that crazy with a lot of Russian food. For my palate, they seemed bland, and soup always have sour cream.

Onboard Activities

Not much, but the lectures were all SRO audience. Learn so much about it. Always looking forward to the next lectures.

Wait staff knows our name, excellent service, solicitious, can't complain. Luliana, my room steward was so beautiful , young and excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Of course the ships are from their first acquisitions. Everything was good. Although shower stall was quite small, and guilty when I splashed so much water.
