The Viking Ocean Cruise I had via Viking Sun was quite relaxing. I stayed on the ship the whole time because my husband got sick (due to fatigue from a long haul travel by air the night before our cruise). We arrived at Miami International Airport at 5 AM, Waited till 10 AM until the crew from Viking came. Hard to beat the time change. But that did not stop me or him to enjoy the perks that the cruise offered. Basically, we enjoyed our quiet times together. This is what I value most about this cruise. It gives you the "space" you very much needed. No screaming kids, no loud people drinking, etc. I enjoyed the gourmet meals, oh! Decadent and marvelous! I am looking forward to my Viking river cruise with my husband in July 2018! Our friends enjoyed and loved it, more so that they somehow influenced us to book on that cruise followed by this Viking Ocean Cruise.

My husband and I had to wait for sometime together with those who arrived with us at the airport in Miami. We were aloud to wait and sit at the lobby prior to us checking in with customs and immigration.

I did enjoy the spa tremendously, especially the "snow grotto." Those who discovered it early on during the cruise were faithfully coming there day and night. Ha! Ha! I'd do it again, I tell you- that's the come-on for me and my husband to try out the Viking Ocean Cruise. We initially booked for the Viking River Cruise for July 2018 and saw this "Snow Grotto" and that alone motivated us, intrigued us to try out the Viking ocean cruise and I just love it, my husband loves it, too!

Superb. I loved the room service. It was convenient. Before I went to bed, I put out my order for breakfast. I woke up in the morning, and there is a buzz by the door. Voila, "breakfast is served!" That easy. The stewards were nice and accommodating. Sensitive to the guests' needs.

I love my cabin, a bit small than expected. But the great thing is the bathroom. The shower is bigger than other cruise lines I have sailed in. It's well-lighted and neat.
It was nice. It was not crowded when we checked in so I couldn't complain. Viking provided us some coffee and water which was sufficient enough during the wait time to get in.
