Review summary

The cruise, overall, was a lot of fun. Was not initially excited to go, but once there, had a great time. The destination ports were all different and very informative. Great excursions provided by Viking. The guides were mostly good and informative to insure a great excursion. Food was the best I have ever had on any cruise, with a good variety to choose from. Drinks were good as we did purchase the drink package, which is well worth it! Rooms were very nice and roomy. Really, have no major negative comments to add. Would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting learn and see Ancient Roman/Greek history!

This was the worst part of our whole trip! The transfer from the airport was very smooth, but the driver dropped us off at the curb on a busy street and pointed to the ship. He did not tell us how to get to it. Took us, and the other 3 passengers at least 45 minutes to find the terminal to enter the ship! Very frustrating after a long airplane ride.

Make dinner reservations for all restaurants very soon after you board the ship if you want to eat in any specialty restaurant.
