Review summary

Great service and a perfect trip for relaxation. Thank you for an amazing time. This is not your normal cruise line. This is impeccable service, with decent food, in a relaxing/low-key environment. While my ratings may say otherwise, that’s more due to the areas the app focuses on. We had a great time and are already booked for another on Viking next month.

Embarkation

We were so excited after having breakfast in the opera house and relaxing downtown. We thought that once on the bus to the boat we’d be smooth and quick, but they had us sitting on busses in the port FOREVER (about an hour) and it was very slow process. I wish they had just kept us downtown and only send 1 bus at a time as the ship was ready for us.

Entertainment

You will not have any flashy Vegas style entertainment and I appreciate that. I just wish the lectures were scheduled better as we could never attend any of them.

Cabin / Stateroom

The showers don’t drain properly so you will have to put towels in front of the shower door or you will end up with a flooded bathroom. Luckily, I read other reviews pointing this out, so we never ended up flooding our bathroom.
