I highly recommend Viking. We will do it again. It’s a fantastic way to see many places at a nice leisurely pace. It’s organized, and it’s fun.

Lovely and ample lunches and dinners all with table service. Breakfast can be buffet or off the menu. The service is very accommodating and personal. There was a nice variety of choices at each mean but not over done

This is an excellent high end ship. River cruises are expensive and this was our first one. We were very pleased with the condition of the ship and our room. Well maintained and elegant yet comfortable

Amazing room. Our first river cruise and we were surprised at the size of the room. A living area and bedroom senate. It made the cabin and our balcony a great place to hang out on travel days and drink wine and watch the scenery without feeling confined.
Ship tip
Do the Pre Cruise trip ,it helps you acclimate to the time change and is a well guided tour that you don’t have to think about anything from lodging to transportation etc. a great way to ease into the actual cruise
Easy as waking off the ship. Side note they even have the dining room open for full breakfast. They do want you out of your room by 8:00am, but you can take your time with breakfast. One issue was we asked for a taxi to take us less than a mile down the road to a hotel we were staying at post cruise. Arranges perfectly except they charged 50€ and only took cash??! Suspect. We Ubered for 10€🤔. Another side note, we taxied from Bordeaux to the Bordeaux airport for 60€ and he took a credit card. Something is very wrong with that arrangement. And our taxi was clean and nice and professional just like the one they called for us.
