Review summary

River Cruises are different than ocean cruises. The ship is really where you sleep and eat. It's not an activity center. You go for the Ports of Call. As long as you know this, you will enjoy it. And Viking is the best. Yes, there are others less expensive (and there are some more expensive.) But Viking is the choice for quality and service.

Could not have been better - from dining room to cabin service. Anything and everything we needed was provided quickly and "with a smile".

For a River Boat, this was a great cabin. The extra "sitting area" really came in handy. The bathroom, while not big, was more spacious than most.

If you can afford it, go for the Veranda Suite
