This is a wonderful trip on the Danube River. We visited three lovely capital cities along the way. The ship is one year old and in top shape - like new. The entire ships staff were very courteous, professional, friendly and they exceeded our expectations, This includes the Captain and his crew, Hospitality and housekeeping, chief and wait staff, tour directors, guides, drivers and ground personnel. We felt we were well cared for and often pampered.

Exceptionally clean and new looking - the ship is one year old. A nice restaurant, lounge area and sun deck with out door seating and walking track.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was clean, new looking and well kept by the housekeeping staff. This room is a French Balcony, 135 square feet, just a bit on the small side. There was really no place to sit unless it was on the bed. There was a small stool that fit under a small desk but if you pulled it out then no one could walk around the bed to the sliding glass window. Due to a booking issue when we first scheduled this trip it was on another ship and departure date, The French Balcony room that we choose on that ship was 170 square feet, and this was probably an adequate size. The bathroom was a nice size and roomy enough. There is a nice flat screen TV system in the room that you can use to watch different programming that is available but we choose not to watch TV.
Ship tip
The lounge, terrace and sun deck (weather permitting) are nice places to sit and enjoy the scenery as you sail. This is also a good place and opportunity meet new people and to make new friends. Or, if you like you can spend some quiet time there or in the library area.
A nice trip in the country, the scenery was beautiful but we did not enter any buildings in the city, so it ended up being an eating and shopping excursion as well as sight seeing. The local guide was informative.
We attended the evening concert and that was very nice. The city does have public transportation but we were not in Vienna long enough to learn how to use it (morning bus tour and evening concert).
