Review summary

I would recommend this cruise with the knowledge that at certain times of year you are taking a risk that the water levels may be too low. We missed Decin for this reason but fortunately, we had no further problems. The Elbe is a beautiful river with very little traffic. We felt like we had it to ourselves.

We couldn't embark from Decin as planned due to low water; fortunately, the bus trip to the next embarkation point was short and we had no problems after that.

All really good. Lots of choices. The staff went out of their way to acquire a baked potato for my husband!

Actually, I'm not sure there were any. But I did take the paddling trip so maybe that counts. It was fun to experience the river this way but perhaps a bit too long.

Do you mean Berlin? The city tour was pretty good. The Intercontinental hotel was very nice! Love the Marlne Dietrich bar. Trip was over way too soon. I would have enjoyed another day or two of cruising but this is just not a long river
