Review summary

Overall we enjoyed ourselves on a relaxed 5 night sailing but that was probably because we had a drinks package as the service was terrible from the bars to the main dining room and the state of the ship and cabin was verging on unacceptable. Would not return to Ventura anytime soon.

Buffet was appalling from what was offered to the food labelling. The staff couldn’t even tell us what was in certain dishes, very disappointing. Main dining room was also poor. Total lack of quality vegan and veggie food.

Some of the worst service we have received on any cruise. Many of the staff were clearly not happy. Service in the main dining room was actually rude at times

Ship really is in a poor state of affairs, total lack of maintenance. Balcony furniture was covered in paint and bird poo. Cabins are very dated and bathroom left a lot to be desired with a dirty old curtain. I liked the theatre with small tables in your arm rest and some nice drinks venues.

I liked the layout and large storage area but very dated and lack of maintenance. This cabin has a wonderful oversized balcony but shame the furniture was in a disgusting state.
