Great cruise!!!!

Sail Date: July 17, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Being a smaller ship, the Veendam never seemed crowded.

Pros: Food was great

Cons: Size of only pool on ship. Waiters only serving paid drinks poolside. No dress shorts in diningroom...this IS Bermuda.

Recommends Veendam? Yes!

Food and Dining
Don't get to the Rotterdam room 5 min. before closing. They will ignore you for five min. and then tell you they are closed.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Our steward "Agude" (sp?) was wonderful. Often checking to see if we needed anything and replenishing everything without bing asked.
The magician/comediene with the dog was our favorite.
Hamilton, Bermuda
Shops were good
Don't Miss: Dolphins at dockport and jetskiing at sommerset bridge. Beaches on southside.
