All in all if you want to cruise where there are NO screamimg children in the dining room. NO kids splashing in the hot tubs. Oh and ya NO KIDS !!! This is the cruise for you. I forgot to mention I got a tattoo! They have a tattoo shop on board. If you want a tattoo get in line the first night to make an appointment or they will book up and you wont get one!
I hope some of this helps!
Embarkation

Outside the line up process is a bit confusing. If you have deep blue extras or the romance package there will be a special line for you to get a bracelet, make sure you stop there and get that. After that you need to get into the VIP line. It is not well marked imo. Once inside you show your ID and get your bracelets for the cruise. The waiting are is very comfortable for waiting to actually board. Pay attention to the person on the loud speaker for when you can board. It is very hard to hear.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Let me start by saying WOW!!! The food on Virgin is TOP-Notch!
They dont have a main dining room. They 6 sperate dining venues.Gunbae is the korean bbq place, I would start the week with that one. It is a blast as long as you dont get sit with any lame people lol. You get free soju and sake shots when you play the game they do. It is so much fun! The food is good and the whole experience sets the week off right!
The steak house is equally over the top! Dont be afraid to order more than 1 entree.....I got the lamb chops and the ribeye......amazing!
My least favorite is the test kitchen. I wouldnt waste my time ever going back. 1 big fail in my book. The mexican stle place is good, not my fav. The italian place has fresh made pasta and it is very good! Lastly is Razzle Dazzla. It is the most Vegan type of food on the ship. They still have really good options for us meat eaters. It has a cool vibe and the food is really good.
They have some little spots allover the ship to grab food so make sure you keep an eye out.
The non buffet area is where you can get all types of great food pretty much all day and night. Do yourself a favor and try the Ramen! They also have some Indian food on certain days and it is outta this world good!
I could go on and on but Ill just leave with saying if you are a foodie this cruise is def for you!
Onboard Activities

Spa area is nice. You can do a 3 hour pass and have plenty of time to do everything. They have some trivia and they had some crafting classes which I found a bit odd. Casino is the smallest out of all the cruise lines Ive been on. It served the purpose but would have like more slot options. They had a ton of in room movies and tv options and its all free so if you want to hang in the room you should have plenty to watch. Aslo, if you want room service its free as long as you buy 1 thing. We would buy something cheap and then order everything that was free. FYI all pop is free. Start the week and get some delivered to the room if you drink soda and you will have some in the fridge!
Entertainment

Id say this is the part of the cruise I found lacking. I will say my husband didnt participate in any of the parties so that is our fault. Other than parties they had a few shows. Some of the shows are more on the riskay side and somewhat vulgar at times. I didnt mind it but justa heads up.
Service and Staff

Everyone is super nice. We never met our room steward which we thought was weird but our room was always kept up. The waitstaff at each place seemed to really like being there.
Ship Quality

Beautiful ship and all the venues were decorated and stood out as a seperate venue.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Beautiful cabin. We had a Central Sea Terrace. Balcony room with a hammock on the balcony. One of the best parts of the cruise, if you ask my husband. The room has mood lighting which is all controlled on a tablet they have for you in the room. With the tablet you can also control the tv, order food, ask for ice, get the cabin cleaned, etc. It is a very nifty thing imo.
Ship tip
Be ready to loosen up, be a little risky, and just have fun!
Very cluttered with not much direction given. way too many people had their luggage, alot of luggage, and tried to drag it through the maze they had us going through. I dont think it was well executed.
